Concerned Women Political Action Committee Endorses Sharron Angle for Congress in Nevada’s 2nd District
Angle cited as leading voice for traditional values
Washington, D.C. – The Concerned Women Political Action Committee (CWPAC) announced its endorsement of Nevada Assemblywoman Sharron Angle in her campaign for Congress in Nevada’s 2nd District.
CWPAC is affiliated with Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, which is also affiliated with Concerned Women for America, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide.
Assemblywoman Angle is one of three candidates running in the Republican primary in 2006 for the congressional seat being vacated by Rep. Jim Gibbons.
CWPAC Executive Director Michael Bowman said: "We are pleased to endorse and lend our active support to Sharron Angle. Sharron has a proven and truly outstanding record on issues of concern to traditional values voters. Whether it’s defending the right-to-life, standing up for the sanctity of marriage, or fighting for school choice options for parents, Sharron Angle has been a true leader in Nevada, and we know she will be a star in Congress."
Michael Bowman continued, "After looking at the records of the other candidates in this primary, Nevada Secretary of State Dean Heller, and former Assemblywoman Dawn Gibbons, there is no comparison between their records and Sharron Angle’s. Heller and Gibbons both have not established themselves as conservatives on issues important to families."
CWPAC will encourage its members to work and elect Sharron Angle for Congress to help support and strengthen America’s families!
