Text Box: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ANGLE TO MAKE ANNOUCEMENT CONCERNING CONGRESSIONAL RACE Press Conference: Carson City, NV    Wed June 8, 2005 - 12pm  Assemblywoman Sharron Angle will be in Carson City, NV this Wednesday June 8, 2005 on the front steps of the Legislature from 12 PM to 1 PM to make an announcement concerning her candidacy for Congress in District 2. Assemblywoman Angle is one of Nevada's most conservative voices. The Republican from Reno has a reputation for consistently voting against tax increases, and is the sponsor of a statewide ballot initiative to restrain property taxes. "I fight hard for fiscal responsibility, representing the voice of the people of Nevada. Washington like Nevada has money, but they lack the will-power to control spending" Angle said. Congressman Jim Gibbons is expected to vacate the 2nd Congressional District seat, which covers most of the state outside of the Las Vegas Valley to run for governor in 2006. Mrs. Angle will speak briefly and will answer questions.
